Three Forks is located just past the Missouri Headwaters State Park, where the Jefferson, Madison and Gallatin Rivers converge and form the Missouri River. Three Forks has a deep history, featuring Lewis & Clark's grand adventures. Three Forks is home to a talc processing mill, the Buffalo Jump State Park and the historic Sacajawea Hotel. There are hundreds of miles of blue-ribbon trout fishing as well as ponds in city limits, perfect for children's fishing!
